Roland MKS-70
The MKS-70 12 voice DCO/VCF synth module with portamento, chorus, 50 preset, 50 user patches, 64 Program Patches and uses the same synth engine as the JX-8P and JX-10 (Super JX). Aphex Twin used the MKS-70 on three tracks in the album Syro. It was also the source of synth brass sounds for many prominent 80's jazz players like Lyle Mays and Russel Ferrante. The Super JX is featured on tracks by Vangelis, Duran Duran, Angelo Badalamenti, and The Cure. Our unit has the Vecoven 3.0 firmware upgrade giving it expanded patch memory and more.
