Yamaha CS1x
The CS1x is a 61 key virtual analog synthesizer from 1996. It's Yamaha's first VA (virtual analog) synthesizer offering analog-style sound and control. Frequency, resonance, and envelope controls are easily accessed via dedicated knobs, and these controls also transmit MIDI data in real-time. The presets are aimed at electronic music producers, however, being XG format (expanded General MIDI) there are also many standard sounds like pianos and other acoustic instruments. It also features an arpeggiator, 11 drum kits, and full MIDI capability. Watch a demo here.
