Gratuitous use of synth imagery like the Juno 60 on the music video for Bang Bang Bang. In the live performance on the Jonathan Ross Show I think the synth displayed on the outside of Mark's rig is a Sequential Prophet 5. It is almost like the way that Justice's uses Moog Modulars and Marshall stacks that do nothing but look awesome. The actual synths being are Yamaha Motif 8 which are more reliable for a live performance.
Here is a clip from Better Living Through Circuitry featureing Jack Dangers of Meat Beat Manifesto and his Arp 2500.
Besides being a part of legendary synth pop group Erasure, Vince Clarke has produced many bands including Goldfrapp and A Place to Bury Strangers, all with the help of his analog synth studio.

Vince's studio includes:
Demdike Stare is hayntology/ambient/techno band I am really into right now. They use all analog gear, and their music evokes the sprits inherent in their gear. In keeping with this theme they have a tack from a previous release, Symbiosis, titled Ghostly Hardware. Here are some photos from their blog.

There are a few synths that can get a great dubstep bass.

Roland Juno 60
The Juno 60 is especially useful for getting the wobble sound that so many dustup producers are seeking. The LFO can be routed to the filter. With out midi to DCB controller, we can also sync the LFO to midi clock, allowing for rhythmic, beat synced wobbles. There is a character in the filtered square wave of the Juno 60 that I recognize in many dubstep tunes.
