Korg Poly-800

The Korg Poly-800 is an 8 voice, 64 patch, 49 key midi synth from 1984. It was the first Korg synth to feature the pitch bend/modulation joystick which was found on many subsequent Korg keyboard models. It has strap pegs so it may be played "keytar" style (but with no handle). Like many synth of the time its architecture is 1 DCO, 1 VCF with a built-in chorus effect. It has been used in tracks by Depeche Mode, Orbital, and Vangelis. We also have the module version available, the EX-800. Watch a demo here
