Roland RS-101

The RS-101 was Roland’s first string synthesizer from 1975 that competed with Arp String Ensemble And Logan String Melody. It includes the classic sawtooth divide-down oscillator with 61 note polyphony and a mix of string and brass filtering. It also includes the ensemble effect using four BBD delay circuits. The envelope section allows for control of attack and release, and Vibrato can be turned on or off. Watch a demo here.
